I'm wondering if there are any support groups in the Seattle area? I'd love to talk to people locally about doctors, exercise, diet, etc.
Thanks! Linda

I would also like to know of a group in the Seattle area - I live in the south area - Kent to be exact. It sounds as if maybe the group is disbanded...??? Linda - where do you live - maybe we could at least discuss via email, perhaps there are other members out there that are looking. PS - my name is Linda also. I was just diagnosed about 4 months ago and am not dealing too well with this and would welcome other patients views of how they are coping and such.

Hey guys,
I too have been looking for a support group in Western WA for about 6 months, for either pain mgnt, rheum illness, or AS, and have had no luck. I live near Seattle (Woodinville), and would LOVE to chat via e-mail, meet for coffee, etc. with anyone in the surrounding area. My e-mail is Saramichelle@animail.com
I am 22, and was Dx in Jan this year, but I've had symptoms since I was 13-ish. When I was 18 I had a fall and crushed my pelvis, and since a few months after that, I've gone downhill hard and fast. Currently I'm unemployed, so I've got a lot of spare time :-0, and am available much of the time to work around your schedule for a coffee meet-up, or whatever works for you.
Good luck to all of you on your journey to better health, and I hope to hear from some of you soon.

I'm located I'm Mt Vernon, WA but I'd be willing to drive to talk with other people about this. I haven't been formally diagnosed but put the pieces together myself a few months ago. Please email me if you are interested tforsmarkstaup@gmail.com
