I am new to New York and haven't found a good Rheumatologist. Any recommendations will be appreciated. Thanks

Definitely do not go to HSS and see a doctor who speaks as if being an expert on spondylitis.

Hi Bob - see Dr. Max Hamburger in Melville. He has 40 years experience, and found my AS when 2 other Rheumatologists missed it.

I used to see Dr. Marinescu in the same practice as Dr. Hamburger. (Rheumatology Associates of Long Island) Dr Marinescu gave me the full work up and diagnosed me with AS. They also have an office in Smithtown and Port Jefferson. I now live in NJ. Speaking of HSS, I did go see Dr. Susan Goodman, for a second opinion. She listened to my experiences with AS and gave me a very thorough exam.

Glad to hear of another person having success with RAofLI. I went through too many doctors before I was finally diagnosed.
