My chiro is recommending astaxanthin. Has anyone taken this? I'm also on Humira but can't find any info about if there are any contraindications.

Thanks for any info.

Hello, bizzylizzy:

I have used astaxanthin, but have not had results enough to encourage its employment. Perhaps dosage was not correct, like borage seed oil will not work very well unless A LOT is taken (2g effective GLA; about eight capsules at a time). So, I can recommend borage seed oil, but positive experiences with this might never happen, as I am essentially in remission for many years and thus a terrible test subject; please let us know how You do with it!
