Good morning!

I’m curious what side effects people are experiencing with Humira.
I started Humira in July and almost immediately I noticed a decrease in appetite. All blood work at my last 2 appointments was completely normal. Does anyone else have this?

I don't have any side effects with Humira, other than an occasional bruise when I hit a blood vessel while injecting. I hope the Humira is helping you.

I had no side effects with Humira except if you count much less disease activity. Are you skinny? Did anything else happen?

I have had no side effects after a year except one month I got a cold and it took a month to shake. I also had a severe flare for a month where it felt like it wasn’t working at all. I am six weeks into taking it weekly and no side effects. I have lost about ten pounds since I started it but I think it is more due to avoiding starch.

I too have had a cold that has taken me 6 weeks to finally get over. I’m 140 pounds right now so I’m not super thin. I’ve lost 12 pounds since August and have nearly no appetite.
I got my lab results back today and now I’m scared and freaking out as my liver enzymes are quite elevated. My ALT is 214 and my AST is 177. I also have an LDH TOTAL result of 576.
Tomorrow my doctor wants me to go have an ultrasound of my liver so now I’m terrified I have cancer. Ugh

Deep Breath. Sorry. Hope the scan goes well. There is a liver auto immune issue that can pop up which is treatable. I hope all goes well.

Sending good thoughts your way. Like Anna, autoimmune hepatitis was the first thought that popped in my mind.
