I'm not sure if my rheum is helping or is he waiting on more test. I'm in pain, neck is stiff along with vack.

what to do?

Go to a new doctor and tell em your problems , if they don't listen go to another lol.


Diagnosed 4+ months ago with as causes chest pain and severe back pain . Medications : methotrexate .6 per week in divided doses, Prednisone tapering off 2 5mg daily, folic acid mg daily, dicloymine for stomach pain and cramping , ranitidine 150mg twice daily and Prilosec 20mg extended release once daily , Carispodol (Soma) 350mg 5 times daily , oxycodone 10mg every 4 hours as needed

Just as you have hear, look online for other patient's referrals. Include your location and the distance you are willing to travel for your medical appointments. Look on other sites as well. I can't remember where but back in 2015 I learned of an excellent MD in Chicago and in 2012 in LA. Research Hospitals or Universities with Research Departments should be considered a good source when Rheumatology is a specialty. Good Luck!
