Hi all,
I haven't been here in a while. I've been on Humira for over a year and it's worked quite well for me. Last week however I came down with Shingles. My rheumetalogist said that Humira greatly increases the risk of shingles outbreaks. This is the second time I've had shingles and I'm 39 years old. First time was after being very run down and stressed. I'm strongly considering permanently stopping Humira as Shingles is not a side effect I'm willing to put up with. I'm not looking forward to my AS symptoms returning though. Has anyone else experienced this?
