Hi there just coming back to say I finally had my tear duct surgery. It was an endoscopic dcr which makes a new tunnel between the inside of the nose and the tear duct. Turns out I had a stone that totally filled my lacrimal sac so definity better out than in! The stone's a bit like a gall stone but made of calcium deposits...

Who would have thought you could get stones in your tear ducts!

I know you're glad to have the surgery behind you. Fingers crossed that you have no more problems!

Thanks yes glad to get it over with. Apparently I also have a stone on the other side but don't have to do anything until it bothers me.
