I know sometimes people come here looking for pillow or mattress recommendations.

My neck is severely affected by AS, and I’m also very petite, so I have trouble with pillows being too hard or too thick. My trusty old memory foam pillow lost all cushioning after many years. I bought a new one and it was like sleeping on a rock. So I went back and shopped again.

I bought one I love. Sensorpedic Transcend memory foam contour pillow. I sleep on the lower side. It is soft enough to have give to it but still provides support.

I have a My Pillow for side sleepers. I have AS in my neck as well. I need an almost flat pillow or I get horrible pain that is difficult to resolve. It’s awesome that you found something that works!
