Thanks guys!

BobbyB--something you should definitely keep an eye on. Not sure how old your son is, but my pain started around 15. I have talked to some who had symptons earlier. The good thing is that you know what to look for and the earlier it is caught, the better the outcome can be.

Karlito--Congratulations and good luck with the new baby!

I try to enjoy every moment and not dwell on it too much, but it's difficult at times.

I worry that i have passed this to my daughter. It is a very painful thing to think about. Usually end up with my head in my hands crying. I feel like my disability has already made things harder for her. Not much that can be done though huh?

Yeah, not a whole lot we can do, except keep our eyes open for the symptoms and get them help early.

My wife and I even talked to a Genetic Doctor prior to having kids, because I was so concerned about it. She showed us all this data about percentage of people with the disease, with and without HLAB27, etc., etc. But now I talk to a lot of people who passed it on! I just don't know. I guess you try not to let your worry effect the kids...
