I just encountered the best rheumy ever..if not the best doctor ever. He has AS himself, and knows the pain and struggles we all face. His name is P. Wickersham, with Arthritis Associates. He was so compassionate, so knowledgeable, that I know he will be my doctor for life. I would literally travel thousands of miles to keep him as my doctor. If anyone wants more info, I would be happy to share. He does have a long waiting list, but it is worth every single day of waiting. If you ever read this Dr. Wickersham, thank you for restoring my faith in doctors, and giving me hope that my future quality of life will do nothing but improve while I am in your care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
