Would like to know what meds ppl are on and the good,bad,and ugly as far as experiences

Hello Terry.

I'm on Enbrel and methotrexate 1 year now. It's working well for me. A lot of joint pain and stiffness relief. Exercising regularly now. I took humira and idocin combo before too for about 5 years;had to change meds because that lost it's effectiviveness. The only side effects I've had with biologics is that I got abscesses while on humira (about 6) at once all over my lower body. That's what I believe, the doctors don't tell me much. Other than that I don't have any other side effects. The injection pain is normal for sticking something sharp into your body so not too worried about that. Right now when I compare enbrel/mtx to humira/indocin combo, I would say humira/indocin made me feel better, not to say enbrel/mtx isn't working. Both have been good for me. Also took remicade, had vasculitis reaction while I was on it. Again docs were'nt too forthcoming and had no answers for bad reaction. Hope my story has some info for you.

I am on sulfursalazine and diclofenac sodium...my rhumy said that I am on the lowest dose he has seen any one be on...its worked really well for me so far.....my new doc wanted me to double my diclofenac but I am doin just fine on the lower dose so I did not double it.....

never mind it was the sulfasalazine she wanted me to double....

Here's my current regimen:

Indocin
Cymbalta
Hydrocodone
Robaxin (prn)

Had to lower my dosage of Indocin due to nausea problems - I take three 25 mg's (75 mg total daily). I suffer when not taking a NSAID.
