I don't know about military practices, but in general, we always have a *choice* about whether or not we take prescribed medication. That being said, I'm thrilled that I finally got approval to start Humira last week. No changes yet, but keeping my fingers crossed I will!

Sorry you needed to find us, but thrilled you did. You've found a remarkable support system in this forum. Be sure to check in and introduce yourself in the main forum too, since it gets more traffic. Welcome!

Welcome, so glad that the Humira is working for you, I'm still in the process of getting my insurance to approve humira for me, so I've been praying every night that it will work.

And yes this is a great support group online, it can really help when your feeling all alone with your disease.

Im 20 years old, I go to culinary school. DX with AS in July 2010. Currently on Tramadol and Flexoril. Starting Humira, or at least trying to get my insurance to improve it first.
