I have to say that I am truly in awe of my rhumey, Dr. Cynthia Elliot in Lawranceville, Georgia. Her office staff is nice but not the most efficient but the doc is very good medically and truly compasionate. To give a recent example, I left a message on Monday morning regarding a new symptom, the "dreaded heel pain". Monday evening, she called me at home, apoligizing about not getting back to me sooner. IN the course of our conversation, I mentioned that she was also going to be seeing my youngest daughter. She asked why and when I described symptoms, she asked when the appointment was scheduled..to which I replied March 3, the soonest I could get.
To make a long story short, I got a call from the office today wanting to know if I could have nmy daughter in the office at 8:00am tomorrow morning..that Dr. Elliott was concerned that a young woman possibly presenting AS symptoms should be seen and diagnosed, one way or the other as soon as possible. TO do this, she was willing to come in 1 1/2 hours before she normally starts seeing patients. Knowing how busy she is, this really means a lot to me. She is a very warm and caring woman and I understand that her sister also in the same practice is the same.
