A former PCP refered me to Dr. S. Kaphil and then an ortho also recommended him. At first I did not care for him, but since I have gotten to know him, I would not change. He takes the time to listen and explains things very clearly. Although he is not overly aggressive, he definitely helped me, as there has been very little progression of the disease in the two years he has been treating me. Also, I can usually get in to see him quickly, same day if I am really in pain. I have spoken to the nurse at the hospital where I have remicade infusions, and she comes in to contact with a lot of his patients. She said all she has received is positive responses, and has decided to change rheumys and go to him herself.
