I'm taking off bright and early Thursday morning. OK, may not so bright, but certainly early. 3 AM. I'm driving to Hinesville, GA which is outside of Ft Stewart. My oldest is returning from Iraq sometime between the 6th and the 12th and I plan on being there waiting for him. I'll join his wife and daughter, her parents, and my sons mother (my ex). 2 long days on the road. He is returning to Ft Benning, GA which is about a 4-5 hour drive. Kind of a confusing deployment as he is part of the 3rd ID, but was deployed with the 42nd ID. So that's why he is returning to Benning and not Stewart.
Anywho, it's been a long year. Most likely longer for him than us at home. I'm just glad he is on his way home to us.

You all behave while I'm gone.

Ken,

Have a very safe trip. I'm sure you are looking forward to seeing your son. Please extend my deepest thanks for his service to our country.

And it wouldn't hurt to give him a big hug!!

Crystal

My opinion is strictly that, mine. However, if I want your opinion, I'll give it to you. ;-)
